🏡 The part of Real Estate nobody really talks about…

I currently have 5 transactions that are supposed to close in the next 30-ish days.

And guess what? All. Five. Of. Them. Have. Issues. 😂🤦‍♀️

So there’s a pretty good chance that some (or possibly all 😳) of these deals may not actually make it to the closing table.

And this is the part people don’t always see.

The countless hours of paperwork.
The phone calls.
The texts.
The emails.
The showings.
The negotiations.
The problem-solving.
The “OMG WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW?” moments.
😂
You can spend weeks..or months..working on a transaction, only for something completely outside your control to come along and derail it.

And here’s the fun little kicker… if the deal doesn’t close, I don’t get paid. 🙃

So when people say, “Oh, you’re a realtor…you must make pretty good money!” I sometimes want to say, “Well…let’s talk about the 5 deals currently hanging on by a thread.” 😂

But honestly, I love what I do. ❤️

I just think it’s important for people to understand that there is SO much that happens behind the scenes in real estate. We don’t just unlock doors and collect a check at closing.

We invest our time, energy, knowledge, weekends, evenings, and sometimes our sanity into every client and every transaction.

And when a deal falls apart, it can be incredibly frustrating….not just financially, but because you’ve genuinely worked hard to help your clients get to the finish line.

So…if you’re a realtor and you’ve had one of those weeks…
