The part of acreage life Instagram doesn’t always show you 😂

Clearing brush. Cutting trees. Maintaining roads. Moving dirt. Fixing things. And somehow there is ALWAYS another project waiting.

Owning property is basically one giant outdoor gym membership. 😂

But I wouldn’t trade it. 🌲

What you don’t see is the never-ending list of projects, maintenance, clearing, fixing things and figuring out what needs to be done next.

There’s ALWAYS something.

But honestly? That’s part of what I love about it.

A little progress at a time, and eventually you look back and realize how much you’ve changed.

I’d choose the work and the space over living in town any day. 🌲

Finding a beautiful piece of land is the easy part.

Figuring out whether you can actually do what you want with it? That’s where things get interesting.

Before falling in love with acreage, look into access, water, septic, utilities, zoning and building requirements.

A property can look perfect and still come with some very expensive surprises.
