WILLOW BEND MALL SET FOR DEMOLITION BY END OF YEAR

A major transformation is coming to Plano. The Shops at Willow Bend is expected to begin demolition within the next year as part of a large-scale redevelopment project.

What to know:
• 🏗️ Demolition will be phased, starting with site preparation
• 🛍️ Some areas will remain open (restaurant district, parking garages, select tenants)
• 🏙️ Project will become a mixed-use district called The Bend

What’s planned:
• Retail, restaurants + entertainment

Big picture:
• The mall opened in 2001 as the last enclosed mall built in Texas

🔹 Families (2 kids): A household income of $214,490 is the magic number.
🔹 The Suburbs: In Frisco, McKinney, and Plano, single earners need $109,242 to feel secure. 📈
