As happens whenever scammers see an opportunity, a lot of our properties are being listed as available, and HOA members are being contacted via email stating we now manage their property. In Missouri. That being said, we do not manage HOA's, we are only managing the Southern Maryland region, and DO NOT send money to anyone who hasn't met you personally at a property, can show proof of ID, and been able to access the keys to give you a tour. As well as a valid e-signature lease. Stay safe and aware!!

This weather is presenting challenges to homeowners and renters alike! Please keep the a/c below 75 in empty homes to decrease the possibility of mold growth, and ensure all windows and doors have good seals to prevent water leakage during these storms.
Did you know underground flooding is a thing? And it can cause a lot of damage to your home. Make sure you also have insurance coverage as it's different from regular flood insurance.

It's the season of BRRRRR here!! Some important tips for your home during this freeze, whether it's lived in or vacant...

Drip Faucets: Let both hot and cold faucets drip slowly, especially those on exterior walls, to keep water moving and prevent freezing.
Cabinet Doors: Open kitchen and bathroom cabinets to allow warm air to reach pipes located inside.
Insulate Pipes: Wrap exposed pipes in unheated areas (attics, basements, crawl spaces) with insulation.
Keep Heat Constant: Maintain a minimum of 55F-65F in the home, even if you are away, to prevent pipes in walls from freezing.
Turn Off Water: If you lose power or leave for an extended time, turn off the main water valve and drain the system. Know where your water shut off valve is located!
