The water is still, as if holding its breath.
A butterfly balances where certainty should sink.
Nothing rushes this moment.
Even the light feels careful.

That day didn’t arrive loudly.
It settled in, irreversible, quiet.
Everything after learned its shape from it.
Every before now points back.

I remember the way the world paused.
Not stopped—paused.
As if waiting for permission to continue.
Permission that never came.

The worst days don’t scream.
They glow softly and refuse to dim.
They teach the heart a new temperature.
One it never forgets.

I stand here now, watching the stillness.
Carrying that day without setting it down.
Some moments change the shoreline forever.
The water remembers where it broke.

Turning Point USA Stands for Faith, Family, and Freedom with Alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show

Turning Point USA is stepping up to provide an alternative to the liberal-dominated Super Bowl halftime show. The “All-American Halftime Show” will air in direct competition with Bad Bunny’s performance, giving viewers a celebration of American values with performances from Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. This event sends a strong signal that conservative voices, rooted in faith and freedom, will not be silenced by the Hollywood elites.

ROCK SHOW: Kid Rock said Sunday's All-American Halftime Show — Turning Point's alternative Super Bowl LX performance — isn't meant to be a political statement, it's for people who "love Jesus" and "love America."

Yes! God Bless and Amen

Former First Lady Melania Trump has drawn renewed attention after remarks in which she publicly referenced her Christian faith, stating that her belief in Jesus plays a guiding role in her life. The comments have circulated widely online, prompting discussion across political, religious, and cultural audiences.

Public expressions of faith by political figures and their families have long been a point of interest in American civic life, particularly given the country’s historical intersection of religion and politics. Supporters view such statements as an affirmation of personal values and religious freedom, arguing that faith can provide moral grounding and personal direction regardless of political affiliation.

Critics, however, caution that religious declarations by prominent public figures can become politically charged, especially when amplified during periods of polarization. Some argue that faith-based language risks being interpreted as signaling alignment with specific voter blocs or ideological movements, even when framed as a personal conviction.

Melania Trump has generally maintained a lower public profile compared to other first ladies, making explicit references to her faith less frequent and therefore more notable when they occur. Observers note that her remarks align with a broader trend of public figures speaking more openly about personal belief systems, particularly in response to cultural debates about values, identity, and moral authority.

Religious scholars point out that expressions of faith by political spouses are not new and often reflect broader societal conversations rather than policy positions. They emphasize the distinction between personal belief and governance, noting that public reactions often reveal as much about audience perspectives as they do about the speaker.

The response to Melania Trump’s statement highlights ongoing national conversations about the role of faith in public life, individual belief versus political symbolism, and how personal convictions are interpreted when voiced by high-profile figures.

I miss you Kyle......

I miss you Kyle......

My mind still talks to you in ordinary moments,
while standing in line, while driving nowhere special.
I catch myself forming sentences you won’t hear,
then remembering you already know them.

My heart still looks for you in familiar places,
in doorways, in pauses between conversations.
It expects you to arrive late like you always did,
apologizing softly, smiling anyway.

Grief isn’t loud here, it’s patient.
It waits until I’m alone with my thoughts.
It reminds me love doesn’t disappear,
it just loses its physical address.

Some nights I swear I feel your presence,
not as a miracle, just as calm.
Like the room knows how to hold itself still,
the way it did when you slept.

My soul has accepted what the others haven’t,
that peace can exist alongside missing you.
I carry both without choosing sides,
learning that love doesn’t need answers to stay. 🕊️

Sassy!

What nickname would you give this adorable cat? 🤠

I know this pain.
01/29/2026

I know this pain.

There is a pain that only parents who have lost a child know.
♥︎It is not just grief, it is a shattering.
♥︎A before and an after that will never make sense.
♥︎You imagined a lifetime with them.
♥︎Teaching them.
♥︎Protecting them.
♥︎Watching them grow.
♥︎You held a future in your mind that no longer exists.
♥︎The world expects you to keep going.
♥︎To function.
♥︎To cope.
♥︎But this kind of loss breaks even the strongest hearts.
♥︎You don’t just miss your child.
You grieve the parent you were with them.
♥︎The routines.
♥︎The purpose.
♥︎The love that had somewhere to land.
♥︎The world kept moving, but yours stopped the moment theirs did.
♥︎And every day since has been about surviving a life that feels wrong without them.
If you are a bereaved parent-
♥︎You are not weak for still falling apart.
♥︎You are not behind.
♥︎You are carrying the uncarryable.
♥︎Your love did not die with your child.
♥︎It lives on in your aching, in your remembering, in every breath you take in a world that no longer makes sense.
♥︎And healing, when it comes, is not about letting go, it is about learning how to carry love and loss together, one breath at a time.

The moon hangs high, full and distant,
watching without interruption.
A red bird crosses the dark sky,
movement against stillness.

Silence isn’t empty here,
it presses in, undeniable.
I notice it in small spaces,
where your voice once lived.

Everyday sounds feel different now,
too sharp or too faint.
The quiet carries weight,
shaped exactly like what’s missing.

I’ve learned that silence can speak,
and sometimes it speaks the loudest.
It reminds me of what mattered,
and still does.
