š Spot Removal Chart
Mold & Mildew Spots: Spray a 1:1 mixture of distilled white vinegar and water directly onto the black or green spots. Let it sit for 15 minutes to kill the spores before scrubbing. Alternatively, a spray of 3% hydrogen peroxide works well but should be spot-tested first to ensure it won't bleach the fabric color.
Oil, Grease, & Bird Droppings: Sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch directly onto the wet or greasy spot. Let it sit for 30 minutes to absorb the oils, then scrub gently with your dish soap solution using an old toothbrush.
Grass Stains: Mix a few drops of hydrogen peroxide with 1 tablespoon of baking soda to form a thick paste. Rub the paste into the grass stain, let it sit for 15 minutes, and rinse.
Tree Sap: Gently scrape away excess hardened sap with a dull butter knife. Rub rubbing alcohol onto the spot with a microfiber cloth to dissolve the sticky residue, then wash with soapy water.
