This closing was such a special one for me. I first met this sweet family many years ago when they purchased a home in Wi******er where I represented the sellers. That home and transaction have always been close to my heart.

So when they reached out all these years later and trusted me to help them purchase a home for a family member who was ready to downsize, it truly meant more than they probably realize. There is no greater compliment in this business than someone remembering you years later and trusting you with something so important for their family.

It has been such a pleasure helping this incredibly sweet couple make their move to Lexington! After his many years of military service, he is starting a well-deserved new chapter in retirement—getting back closer to their son, who is here for college, as well as his parents.

And of course, the move wouldn’t be complete without his amazing wife and their sweet doggies getting a new place to call home too! Some homes hold more than memories—they hold a lifetime.

I’m so thankful for the referral from a friend who trusted me to help these sweet sellers as they downsized from the home they built and loved for 53 years. Tucked away on a quiet road surrounded by rolling hills, this home had been their place of peace for more than five decades, and the love they poured into it truly showed.

Last week, the keys were passed to a first-time homebuyer, and a new family’s story began within these same walls. There’s something incredibly special about seeing a home so deeply loved become the beginning of someone else’s journey.

When I first met them, they were engaged and just beginning their life together. I had no idea then just how many chapters I would be blessed to witness alongside them.

Now, a family of four, starting another new chapter. Watching their family grow through all these milestones has been one of the most rewarding parts of being a Realtor.

Real estate is often talked about in terms of houses, contracts, negotiations, and closings, but for me, it has always been about the people and the stories behind those walls. This family has given me the privilege of being part of their story again and again.

I’ve watched their family grow, watched their dreams change, and watched them create a beautiful life together. And now I get to watch them take the next step into a home where I have no doubt they will be their forever. And well, if it's not, I think I can solve that, lol.

I truly cannot wait to see them turn this house into their home and to hear all of the stories that will come from the years ahead.

SOLD in Downtown Wi******er! 🎉

Another downtown property has officially changed hands, and I couldn’t be more excited for the buyers and seller.

A huge thank you to my seller for trusting me to help get this building sold. It’s bittersweet to see her business leave town, but I know she is headed on to do BIG things, and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for her!

Congratulations to the buyers! I cannot wait to see what you do with this building. It has so much potential, and I know you have great things in store!

One of the things I love most about Downtown Wi******er is watching the growth and resurgence happening right before our eyes. New businesses are popping up, buildings are being given new life, and—perhaps most importantly—people are showing up and supporting our downtown.
