The 4th of July is one of the busiest times of the year for lost pets. Fireworks, open doors, extra guests, and loud noises can cause even the most well-behaved pets to panic and run away.

Help keep your pets safe this holiday:

✅ Make sure your pet is wearing a collar with current ID tags.
✅ Check that your pet's microchip information is up to date.
✅ Keep pets indoors during fireworks if possible.
✅ If pets must remain outside, provide a secure, shaded area with plenty of water and check on them frequently.
✅ Remind family and guests to keep doors and gates closed.

Bring your pet to Lexington County Animal Services and we will:

✔️ Scan their microchip for FREE
✔️ Tell you the microchip company
✔️ Provide the phone number needed to update your information

🌊 ☀️ Yesterday we escaped to Folly Beach for the day to soak up some sunshine, enjoy the ocean breeze and make a few memories along the way. 🏝️
On a day like Father’s Day, I’m especially grateful for the parent who has always shown up, loved me unconditionally and been my constant through every season of life. 🤍

☀️Fun in the sun and quality time with my mom away from work was exactly what I needed. 🏝️
