Same budget. Very different results depending which side of the county line you're on.

$350K in Lexington right now gets you about 1,950 sq ft, 3 bed/3 bath, and 108 active listings to choose from. The same budget in Jessamine County tends to buy more space, more bedrooms, and newer construction, but with a lot less to pick from (25 active listings).

Neither side is "better." It depends what you're optimizing for.
