Great news but what actually happens between clear to close and closing day?
More than you might think.

Final figures are confirmed. Closing documents are prepared. Payoffs are coordinated. Signing details are scheduled. Funds are verified. And after everyone signs, there’s still reviewing, funding, and recording to complete.

In other words, clear to close is a major milestone, not the final step.

What does a title company actually do?

If you’ve ever wondered what happens behind the scenes between signing a contract and getting the keys, this one’s for you.

A title company helps verify property ownership, uncover liens and other title issues, coordinate with lenders and real estate agents, prepare closing documents and numbers, facilitate the closing, and make sure the transaction is properly recorded.

In other words: there’s a lot happening behind that closing table.
