It’s that time of year again… and our kennels are full.

From August 1st through August 31st, Lexington County Animal Services is proud to participate in NBCUniversal Local’s Clear the Shelters, a nationwide adoption event that has helped more than one million shelter pets find loving homes since 2015.

To help give as many pets as possible the fresh start they deserve, ALL adoption fees will be WAIVED for the entire month of August!

Every kennel has a story. Some of our pets have been waiting far too long for someone to see them. Whether you’re looking for a running partner, a couch companion, a playful kitten, or a loyal best friend, they’re waiting for you here.

🐾 Every adopted pet goes home:
• Spayed or neutered
• Microchipped
• Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations
• Ready to begin their next chapter with your family

What you’ll need to adopt:
🪪 Must be 18 years or older
🆔 Bring a valid photo ID
🐕 Please bring a leash and collar for dogs or a carrier for cats.
