🎆 With July 4th a few days away, let’s talk about fireworks regulations here in Lexington. The easiest way to remember is that if it goes up or blows up, it is illegal in Fayette County.

✅The types of fireworks allowed are ground and handheld sparking devices, such as sparklers, ground spinners, and fountains.

❎All aerial and audible ground devices, like bottle rockets and firecrackers, are prohibited.

Be a good neighbor this holiday.
• Do not throw sparklers or fireworks at people. Stand at least six feet from other people using sparklers.
• Do not drink alcohol and handle fireworks.
• Only use fireworks outdoors and away from buildings and vehicles.
