🏡 Welcome Home, class of 2026–2027. 🍎

Looks pretty good, doesn't it?
Whew — it makes me sweat just looking at it because I know things. 😘

I spent enough years helping Lisa get her classrooms ready to know what you don't see in that finished picture—the boxes, furniture moving, supply runs, bulletin boards, early mornings, late nights and plenty of sweat. 😂

But I also learned there was a reason behind all of it.

Teachers aren't just decorating classrooms. They are getting a home ready for their students. ❤️

They're thinking about where things should go, what students will need and how that room will feel when everyone walks through the door for the first time.

Kind of sounds like getting a home ready, right? 😊

So while teachers are putting the finishing touches on classrooms all over Central Kentucky this weekend, here's a little Home Girl love for all of you.

We see the beautiful classrooms. But we also see the work and heart that went into making them feel like home. ❤️

And if I could drop off extra-strong coffee, energy drinks, Tylenol, Airborne and a few extra hands and hours in the day to every one of you, I sure would. 😂

🏡 BEFORE THIS ONE HITS THE MARKET...

Our friends bought this cute little Nicholasville home for their daughter a couple of years ago, and it has been the perfect place for her to have a home of her own. Now she's moving on to her next chapter — and this little house is ready for someone else's.
