As you are probably aware, severe weather is expected this evening into tonight. Forecasts indicate wind gusts reaching up to 50 mph. Additionally, a few severe storms are anticipated over the weekend.

In the event of a power outage, it is important to contact Kentucky Utilities (KU) directly, as they are solely responsible for restoring electricity. You may report an outage using the following methods:

Text "OUTAGE" to 454358
Call 800-981-0600 (Select option 1, then option 1 again)
Use the KU mobile app

For maintenance emergencies, please call 859-272-9122 and select option 4 to reach emergency maintenance. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please dial 911 immediately.

In the event of a tornado warning, move to the most interior portion of your home, such as the bathroom, for your safety. We encourage all residents to stay alert and weather-aware during this time.

Our staff will be onsite as soon as conditions allow.
