I've seen designers starting to use AI for interior design inspiration and decided to give it a try today. I explained I was looking for a bedroom design inspired by houseplants, natural light, natural fabrics and colors, and artistic accents. It labeled this Bohemian Green Sanctuary.

What do we think? My first thought is "that's a lot of watering to keep up with" 😅 Please also note the Monsterra leaf growing out of the wall...haha.

Loved spending the morning with my Realty ONE Group Esteem family volunteering at A Turning Point as part of ONE Day (the day all of Realty ONE Group across the nation gives back to the community). A Turning Point is an amazing organization - offering food, clothing, showers, education and more to local families and individuals in need. Today we helped sort non-food donations and pack snack bags. Tomorrow they’re going back to serve in the pantry and clothing shop. 🙂

Can't wait! We have been watching this project since we opened Kind Food KC in NKC's Iron District back in 2019. They have worked so hard and obviously poured their hearts and souls into it. Bravo to all the artists, fabricators and storytellers. This is going to be epic!

PS. This Sunday is the start of DST which means when you wake up your phone and microwave will say different times 😉 (And your dog gets to eat an hour earlier!)

Make your home more appealing to buyers by making sure it smells nice and neutral. But how??

👉 Do a deep clean, hitting all surfaces with antibacterial cleaner, especially if you have pets in the home (hire someone if it’s easier!)
👉 Every morning while your home is listed, spray an odor neutralizer (like Febreeze for fabrics) on all fabric furniture and rugs - avoid strong scents
👉 Make sure the trash is emptied daily and before showings
👉 Place a large pillar candle in each room (but don’t burn them!) - large pillars give off a subtle scent even before being burned (try vanilla, amber or water scents)

Friday night temps are dropping into the single digits! ❄️ My husband and I experienced a burst frozen pipe in a basement bathroom two years ago because we forgot to keep the bathroom door open during the low temps! Yikes! And such any easy thing we could have done to prevent it. Learn from our lesson! Along with the steps below, don’t forget to remove your hose or shut down its water source inside.
