🖤 A little transparency from your local grooming salon 🐾
Today we experienced nine appointment cancellations within 24 hours, with most happening within 12 hours of the scheduled time. We completely understand that life happens — emergencies, illness, and unexpected schedule changes are real, and we always try to lead with grace.
That said, last-minute cancellations do have a big impact. Grooming appointments are reserved blocks of time, and our staff is scheduled specifically around those dogs. When several appointments cancel at once, it can leave us with very few dogs for the team, even though everyone showed up ready to work.
✨ Reminder: Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment are subject to an additional fee, per our policy. This helps protect our staff’s time and allows us to continue operating fairly for everyone.
🤍 We also want to say thank you to those who had to cancel today but immediately reached out to reschedule for the next available appointment. That effort truly means a lot and makes a difference for our small business.
