Looking for something to do around Pickens County today? There’s actually quite a bit going on this Saturday!

🚙 **Pickens Jeep Explosion** — 9 AM–3 PM at The Market at the Mill in Pickens. Jeeps, live music, food, vendors, Show & Shine, a charity ride and more.

🏡 **Hagood Mill** — General Andrew Pickens Birthday Celebration from 10 AM–1 PM. A little local history and a good excuse to spend some time at one of my favorite spots in Pickens County.

🛍️ **Vendor Market at Southern Weaving Food Hall in Easley** — 12–5 PM with local vendors, food and live music.

🎶 **Music at the Mill in Central** — Bluegrass at the historic Central Roller Mills starting at 4:30 PM. This one is free, with donations encouraged.

🎸 **Reedy River String Band at The Silos in Easley** — 6:30–9:30 PM.

🎵 **Rock at the Clock in Downtown Easley** — 7–8:30 PM at Old Market Square. Free live music and the last Rock at the Clock of the season.

🎤 **Micky Dolenz – 60 Years of The Monkees** — 7 PM at the Pickens County Performing Arts Center in Liberty.

There’s plenty going on close to home today! I’m trying to get better about finding these things *before* I hear about them after the fact. 😂

I was going through my pictures from the other day and realized I never used these two from Pickens.

The water tower picture may be a little blurry 😄, but I still love seeing all the familiar little landmarks around Pickens County.

One of the things I enjoy about working in real estate locally is that I’m constantly driving through these towns and noticing things I’ve probably passed a hundred times before.

Pickens has a lot of character if you slow down long enough to notice it. ❤️

The key is understanding which one better supports your lifestyle, budget, and long-term goals.

🔨 Renovating can be a great solution when you love your community but need more function, better flow, updated finishes, or additional space. It allows you to improve the home you already know and enjoy.

Of course, everybody around here knows it’s Clemson game weekend 🏈, but there are a few other things to check out around Pickens, Easley and Central too!

📚 Third Saturday Book Sale in Easley — Saturday at the Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library

🚂 Central Railway Museum in Central — Open Saturday 9–2

🎶 Live music in downtown Pickens — Friday evening
