If you’re looking for more than just dinner… this is an experience.

This was my first visit to Mai-Kai Restaurant and Polynesian Show — where we celebrated our 17th anniversary dinner — and I wanted to share my experience and a few things I learned about the place:

✨ Opened in 1956, this place is a historic landmark and even listed on the National Register of Historic Places
✨ Recently underwent a $20M renovation and reopened in 2024 blending old-school charm with a fresh update

🍹 The vibe:
Think tropical escape, tiki torches, thatched roofs, lush gardens, and decor inspired by different South Pacific islands

💃 The experience:
Dinner + a live Polynesian show featuring traditional dances from across islands like Tahiti, Hawaii, and Samoa
(about 40–45 minutes and happens nightly)

🍽️ The food & drinks:
Polynesian-Asian inspired cuisine + legendary tropical cocktails (this place has been famous for its rum drinks for decades)

🌿 Bonus:
Walk through tropical gardens, enjoy different themed dining rooms, and really feel like you left Florida for the night

💰 What to expect (pricing):
Approx. $200 for a full dinner with drinks and dessert
➕ Show reservation around $35 per person

👉 My take:
Perfect for date night, special occasions, or when you want something different than the usual South Florida spots

📊 Smart Strategy = Full-Price Closings 🔑

The past couple of weeks have been incredibly rewarding, with every deal — rentals and sales — closing at asking price. It’s always exciting to get transactions to the finish line, but it’s even more rewarding when the results match the value we worked so hard to create.

One of these closings was especially meaningful — our very first home. When we moved out, market conditions weren’t in our favor and selling at that time would have meant taking a loss. Instead, we chose a different strategy: rent it, wait for the cycle to shift, and be ready when the opportunity came. 📈

That opportunity turned into our first flip project 🔨✨. After months of renovations from top to bottom, the home truly became something special. Even though comparable properties were selling for less, we confidently priced it higher because we knew the value we had created.

The result? 31 days on the market, 5 offers, and a full-price contract with a 15-day closing. 🎉

A double proud moment — as a homeowner and as an agent. Grateful for the journey, the lessons learned, and the opportunity to help others make smart real estate decisions every day. 💙

✨ TBT to the LAST closing of 2025 — and we closed the year with a BANG! ✨📺🏡

This one had everything… friends, boats, beach vibes, and even a TV showcase moment 😱🎬

For the second time this year, I had the honor of helping close personal friends on their vacation/investment property — this time in the charming boating town of Hernando Beach 🌊⚓

Located about 5 hours from Boca Raton and only ~1.5 hours north of Tampa, Hernando Beach is a small coastal gem on Florida’s Nature Coast, home to roughly 2,000 residents who live the true laid-back waterfront lifestyle.

Think canals, direct Gulf access, stilt homes, elevated coastal houses, fishing docks, sunsets, and quiet streets where boating is a way of life 🛥️🌅

Even though I’m licensed statewide, I partnered with a local agent born and raised in the area — because native expertise adds incredible value when picking the right spot. And wow… did it pay off. 🙌

After locking in the perfect property, we found out the house was showcased and being considered for HGTV’s “Cheap A$$ Beach Houses” 😳📺 — and we were lucky enough that the couple in the show chose another home instead!
