Great things are happening! Our organization has been selected as 1 of the 43 grant award recipients to receive funding from the Ohio Department of Development's Welcome Home Ohio program! We will receive $900,000 in funding which will be used towards development costs of 9 brand new single-family homes later sold to income qualified households we work with!

This exciting opportunity would not be possible if it wasn't for an amazing group of hard working and dedicated partners:

It is exciting to see a plan that has been in the works for nearly 7 months, finally start to unfold!

Talk to representatives from 5/3 Bank, WOCAP, RTA, YMCA, Area Agency on Aging, Health Partners, Activate Allen County, and several others about financial empowerment programming that can benefit your household! PUBLIC NOTICE:

Allen Metropolitan Housing Authority is opening the Public Housing (3 Bedroom & 4 Bedroom) waiting lists to receive online applications beginning on May 6, 2026 through May 20, 2026.

We will NOT distribute or accept applications at any agency location, and fax or email requests will not be accepted.

All applications must be submitted online at myhousing.allenmha.com. Anyone may apply. Applicants already on other AMHA waiting lists must apply separately for this program. Applying will not affect one's status on other agency waiting lists. Those who have disabilities and need to request special accommodations can call 419.228.6065 for more information.

Thank you for participating in the City of Lima's Community Needs Survey. Your input helps determine priorities for federal HUD programs such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Program. This survey is anonymous and takes about 5-7 minutes to complete.

The Shirley Daley Senior Village and senior rental duplex waiting lists will be open on Thursday January 8, 2026 and Friday January 9, 2026. If you are interested in being on our list, please call our office during the hours of 10am - 3pm either day (419-224-9881). If you reach our voicemail, please leave us a message and we will call you back at our earliest convenience.

Once your name is on the list you will be provided an application to return and complete along with your application fee. The application will be processed for eligibility. Our eligibility criteria includes:

- Minimum age: 62
- Credit score: 630
- Criminal/background screening
- Income limits (up to $38,820 for 1 person)
*Our full criteria is listed on the application approval criteria you will receive as part of your application packet.

Once your application is processed and approved, you will be provided with a letter which will provide you with your current position on the waiting list. If your application does not meet the approval criteria or we do not receive your application by the deadline listed in the application, you will be removed from the list and also receive a letter.
