I’ve learned from my raising that home isn’t just a place… it’s the people who made it feel safe, comforting, and full of love.
My Grandma Pauline had a sign on her door that said “Home is where the heart is”. There wasn’t one holiday that she didn’t expect us to bring a stranger to the table if they needed food or family. My Mother and Grandma Betty actually had the gift of hospitality and instilled the value of that to us. It’s how we love by serving in our homes.

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, and women who have nurtured others with strength and sacrifice.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who make a house feel like home. 💐
