Proof that it’s a small world is evident all the time. Tonight while hosting an open house for LINCOLN‘s parade of homes, I picked up a book on an end table for staging. It was a yearbook from 1958 from Nebraska Wesleyan University. There was also one there from 1977. In addition to admiring all of the hairstyles, I of course, browsed through the music pictures. A couple approached me and said “is that a Wesleyan yearbook?” It turns out the lady’s Sister graduated in 1979 from Wesleyan and was in the yearbook! Their daughter also graduated from Wesleyan in 2009, when I was teaching there. Such a fun way to find a connection! A beautiful closing day for some wonderful clients.

Real estate transactions don’t always move in straight lines, and this one required a lot of coordination, problem-solving, and careful timing behind the scenes to bring everything together at just the right moment. I’m incredibly grateful it all aligned so perfectly for my clients.

Is there anything more amazing than when timing just miraculously works out for everyone? I'm thrilled for my friends who get to move into this gorgeous acreage in just a few weeks! I have a soft spot for acreages, so I'm loving this for my buyers!

Hit the road to show houses in Hastings today! Beautiful day for a drive, and I drove past our old house and checked out all the changes to Hastings College since I taught there. I don’t get to drive alone very often anymore, so I enjoyed singing at the top of my lungs!

I hand-knitted a chunky blanket for this staging project, and snapped a quick picture to show a friend how it turned out…and then I noticed in the photo that the blanket matches the picture hanging behind it!
