📣Nebraska REALTORS® Association in partnership with our 501(c)3 organization the Home Buyers Assistance Foundation and the National Association of REALTORS® REALTOR® Relief Foundation are donating up to $2000.00 per qualified applicant who fit one of the following options: (1) to assist with your monthly mortgage expense for your primary residence that was damaged by the April 26th, 2024 tornado outbreak. (2) to go towards your rental cost due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the tornado outbreak of April 26th, 2024, or (3) to go towards your hotel reimbursement due to displacement from your primary residence as a result of the tornado outbreak of April 26th, 2024.
All grants will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and are contingent upon funds being available. To qualify for this donation the affected party will need to submit a complete application which must include photo identification showing proof of residency and a copy of your mortgage statement, lease or rental agreement, or your receipt for your hotel or short-term rental receipt for the time displaced from your primary residence. We also request one of the following to show proof of damage: photos of the damages, an insurance estimate, copies of written claims, settlement proceeds, or claim status reports, or copies of repair estimates from contractors. All applications must be received by July 12th to qualify for assistance.

10 years ago, when my husband and I went to looking for a house to buy, we didn't know any realtor then. We found a cute little house and we want to go in and see it. We called the number on the sign at front yard to see if we can go in side to see it. And the realtor on the phone asked " Do you have an agent represent you?"
My answer was "No we don't". Other person on the phone said " Well, you need to find an agent then". At that time, we don't know any realtor.
4 years ago, I decided to study real estate and took an exam to get license, at that time I didn't know anyone to ask questions, just drawing the road for myself and take each steps...
It has been four years I have been realtor. I love what I do. I love helping people get in their dream home. I love sharing experience and knowledge that I have for a beginner investor.

FHLB just released their grant funds for 2024. Funds become available in March, but it's best to get that conversation with your favorite lender started early.

Home Owner Set-Aside Program: max subsidy $15,000 for first-time buyers.

HOPE Program: This program is not exclusive to first-time home buyers and is built to assist the 'missing middle' with down payment, closing costs, or eligible repairs.
