🦆 MERV HAS ESCAPED. AGAIN.
We really need to stop underestimating a rubber duck.
Merv has disappeared somewhere around The Reserve again, and this week he seems particularly pleased with himself.

He left us one message:

“Everyone around here is always waiting for something.
Bills. Good news. Bad news. Something you ordered three days ago and have checked for six times already.
Me? I'm not waiting for anything.
I'm just enjoying the view.
You humans spend an awful lot of time looking straight ahead.

🔎 Find Merv and be the first resident to return him to the Leasing Office to claim this week's $50 gift card!

Remember: Merv is hiding somewhere residents are permitted to access. No climbing, dismantling, or disturbing anything necessary.

Hard work pays off, so today, we rest! We will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day and will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Have a wonderful long weekend!

🦆 MERV HAS ESCAPED.

Well. That didn't take long.
Sometime when no one was looking, Merv slipped away from the Leasing Office and has taken up residence somewhere on the property.
He did, however, leave us this:

“You humans are always in such a hurry.
A minute here. Thirty seconds there.
Personally, I prefer to sit quietly and watch the numbers disappear.
It gets dark when the door closes.
— Merv”

That's it. That's the clue.
Merv will not be answering follow-up questions.
Management has already tried.
🔎 Find Merv and bring him back to the Leasing Office first to claim this week's $50 gift card to LeadBelly's!
And remember: look, don't dismantle. Merv is hiding somewhere residents are permitted to access, and you won't need to move, open, climb, unplug, or disturb anything that isn't normally meant for resident use.

There’s a new face at The Reserve on 77… and frankly, we’re not entirely sure who let him in.
His name is Merv.
He’s large. He’s a duck. And he has absolutely no intention of staying where we put him.
Starting tomorrow, Merv will begin wandering off somewhere around The Reserve on 77 once a week throughout September.
When he disappears, he’ll leave a hint behind on our Facebook and Instagram to help you track him down.
Find Merv. Bring him safely back to the Leasing Office. Take your official victory photo with the fugitive. And you’ll walk away with a $50 gift card to a local business or restaurant!
A few rules before Merv gets any ideas:
