A new NAR report takes a close look at the connection between data centers, housing, jobs and electricity costs.

Some key findings:

- About 92% of US counties have no data centers
- Counties with data centers typically have higher home values and incomes
- From 2020 - 2024, residential electricity rates increased about 21% in high-cluster data center counties compared to 15% elsewhere.
