Do you know the 1st step when wanting to buy a home?
-You must first find your team of professionals.-
Finding your team is your most essential step when ready to find your next new home. Start with finding one professional, I recommend starting with a lender, real estate brokerage, or a real estate agent (Me, perhaps?).
Don’t have anyone in mind?
-ask family and friends who they’ve used and liked. Why did they like them?
-Interview brokerages and banks, mortgage companies, local real estate agents near where you’re looking to move to. The more people you interview, the more you can be sure you found someone that fits your communication style and preferences.
Then…
-once you find your first team professional they can help you find the other members of your team!
They should be familiar with local services, and help you come up with the right questions to ask, to ensure you have a trusted team at your fingertips.
Ex: you find a real estate agent who knows the local market, communicates well, shares all your options with you, educates you along the way so you understand what you’re doing, lets you make the actual decisions(hugely important!), and behaves in a calm and professional manner. What a great person to have on your side! They can help you find other companies who can be invaluable to your mission and individual needs. These can be companies that they’ve worked with before and had great experiences with, or companies that offer specific resources or skills tailored to your specific transaction. Once you’ve begun to build your team, you’ll start navigating the next steps toward qualifying for and searching for your next home!
