Waiting for mortgage rates to come down may feel like the only way to make buying a home possible.

But 41% of buyers who waited wish they'd bought sooner – before rates and prices rose again.

Right now, factors like inflation, the economy, and global events are all having an impact on rates – and it’s not in the direction you’d hope.

So, for a lot of buyers, waiting might not pay off. Sometimes it just means putting your life on hold for what feels like too long.

Before you decide to hit pause on your move, talk to a trusted lender. They’ll go over options that can help make buying work at today’s rates, and how to get the best rate you can.

You certainly don’t have to buy now. You should buy when the numbers work for you. But you should at least know your options before making a decision.

And right now, inflation, the economy, and global events are all having an impact on rates – and could even nudge them up. So, waiting might not pay off the way you hope. You don’t have to buy now. Move only when the numbers work for you. But talk to a trusted lender first, so you know all your options.

Based on the forecasts, that means roughly 11,800 houses are expected to sell every single day between now and the end of December.

Buyers are still out there, ready to move before the new year. Let’s connect and get your house in front of them.

Eastern Nebraska’s million dollar market is seeing a historic shift, from prestige residential pockets to record-breaking ranch transactions.

In the Omaha and Lincoln metro areas, luxury residential demand remains remarkably resilient, especially for properties priced above $1.5 million.

We are seeing a surge in ‘lake living’ developments, with homes at Lake Allure in Ashland consistently moving near the million dollar mark.

While agricultural land saw its first pull-back in six years, the top tier is still moving, including a historic $56 million ranch sale.
Surprisingly, pasture land in the east and northeast district surged by up to 9%, bolstered by record high cattle prices.

Generational sellers are finding a disciplined but active pool of buyers looking for production-ready farms and luxury sprawling estates.

I’m Stacey Jaeger, reach out today to discuss how these local market shifts affect the value of your property or your next investment.
