Apparently if you stop posting real estate content for a month, Facebook assumes you’ve left the industry and joined a monastery.

So, just to clear things up:

Still a real estate agent.
Still helping people buy and sell houses.
Still happy to answer your weird real estate questions.
Just significantly less interested in making videos about interest rates every Tuesday.

Basically, I’m still your friend who happens to have a real estate license.

So if you’re thinking about buying, selling, or just want to know what the heck is going on with the market, give me a call.

I’m still here. I’ve just stopped yelling about it every day.

Every once in a while, life reminds you not to take yourself too seriously.

I got a text today asking if I had put googly eyes on my own real estate sign.

I hadn’t.

But I have to admit… I laughed. 😂

After spending way too much money on that sign, I figured I’d rescue it before it turned into Lincoln’s newest public art installation.

Sometimes you’ve just got to laugh, peel the googly eyes off, and get back to work.

If you’re the mystery artist… thanks for giving me a funny story to tell.

And if you happen to know someone looking to buy or sell in Lincoln, my sign is officially back to its factory settings.

Would you buy a $1.3 million apartment building without ever looking at the kitchens? 🤔

Professional investors do it all the time.

Most homebuyers fall in love with countertops, paint colors, and where the Christmas tree will go. Investors? They’re looking at cash flow, occupancy, expenses, and long-term opportunity.

I recently filmed a quick video from a 13-unit apartment building here in Lincoln that explains the difference in how investors think.

This property is fully occupied, income-producing, and could be worth a closer look for the right buyer—especially someone looking to add multifamily to their portfolio or complete a 1031 exchange.

If you’d like the rent roll, financials, or investor package, send me a message. I’m happy to share the details.

Question for you:
What’s the first thing you look at when evaluating an investment property?

Can we all agree on something?

House hunting gets… weird.

Perfectly normal adults suddenly become detectives.

They open every closet.

They inspect every cabinet.

They stare at a ceiling fan like it’s personally offended them.

Then they walk outside and say,

“I just wasn’t feeling it.”

Feeling WHAT?!

I’ve learned that buying a home isn’t just about square footage or granite countertops.

It’s emotional.

People picture birthdays, holidays, backyard barbecues, and whether a place actually feels like home.

That’s one of the reasons I love this business.

Every house has a story.

Every buyer has a different one.

And somewhere in the middle, the right match happens.

What’s the funniest or strangest reason you’ve ever passed on buying something… not just a house, anything?

Why do I keep making videos every day?

It’s not because every video goes viral.

It’s not because my phone rings after every upload.

It’s because I believe trust is built one conversation at a time.

Whether you’re thinking about moving to Lincoln next month or five years from now, my goal is simple: to be a reliable source of honest, practical information about living here.

If you’ve been watching these videos, thank you. It means more than you probably realize.

And if today is your first one, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

If you’ve made it this far, leave a comment that says “watching.” I’d love to know who’s out there.

Most home sellers think price is the biggest factor in getting showings.

It isn’t.

Before buyers read the description, check the square footage, or schedule a tour, they decide whether your home is worth clicking on based on the photos.

In this video, I explain why bad listing photos can cost sellers thousands of dollars and share simple ways to make your home stand out online before buyers ever step inside.

If you’re thinking about selling a home in Lincoln, Nebraska, these tips can help you attract more buyers and put yourself in a stronger negotiating position.

Today is closing day for one of my clients.

And while most people think closing day is all about signing papers and getting the keys, I think it’s about something else.

It’s about starting a new chapter.

That’s why I like putting together a small welcome gift with gift cards to local businesses near their new home.

Not because it’s expected.

Because moving into a new neighborhood can feel overwhelming, and I hope it encourages them to discover a favorite coffee shop, a great local restaurant, or a place they’ll enjoy for years to come.

One of the things I love most about Lincoln is the incredible small businesses that make our neighborhoods unique. If I can help a new homeowner feel a little more connected to their community while supporting local businesses at the same time, that’s a win.

Buying a home isn’t the end of the journey.

It’s the beginning of a new one.

If someone handed you a gift card on move-in day, which local Lincoln business would you hope it was for?

Happy 4th of July, Lincoln.

No market stats today. No seller tips. No lecture about curb appeal.

Just a quick note to say I’m grateful to live in a city where families still gather in backyards, kids chase fireflies, neighbors wave, and everyone pretends they know how to safely operate fireworks.

Enjoy your people today.

Thinking about selling your home?

Before you spend thousands at the garden center this weekend… watch this.

One of the biggest mistakes I see homeowners make is assuming that more landscaping = more value.

Not necessarily.

Buyers aren’t looking for an award-winning botanical garden. They’re looking for a home that feels clean, cared for, and easy to maintain.

Fresh mulch.
Trimmed bushes.
A healthy lawn.
A welcoming front entry.

Those simple improvements usually make a much bigger impact than expensive water features or high-maintenance landscaping.

In today’s video, I share where I’d spend my money, and where I’d save it.

👇 What’s the craziest landscaping feature you’ve ever seen at a house?

“Should I wait until fall to sell?”

It’s one of the most common questions I hear this time of year.

The truth is, summer can actually be one of the best times to sell a home in Lincoln, but not for the reason most people think.

Yes, people are taking vacations.

Yes, kids are out of school.

But buyers are also trying to move before the next school year starts, relocate for new jobs, and take advantage of longer days for showings.

The catch?

Buyers have more choices.

That means pricing, presentation, and marketing matter more than ever.

In today’s video, I explain why some homes attract multiple showings while others sit… and how you can put your home in the first category.

If you’re thinking about selling in 2026, this is one mistake you don’t want to make.

If you had to choose, would you rather move in the middle of summer or the middle of winter?
