Behind every sold sign there is a story. And this one is special. While greeting at my church a few months ago, I saw this lady in scrubs with a Lifeshares' jacket on. Lifeshares is an organ procurement organization where I have volunteered for over 20 years. Lifeshares stood by our side when my step-son tragically lost his life and saved lives through the donation of his organs. Lifeshares is a special part of my life and I wanted to meet this person. I called her over to where I was greeting, and introduced myself. We embraced and I did not expect to break down in tears. She was so gracious and I was honored to know her! Fast forward a little, she and her husband contacted me when they wanted to purchase their first home. I met with them to begin the process and God guided them to the home that met the needs of their family. Today we closed and they are now homeowners! I could not be happier for this beautiful family and it was my honor to guide them through the process. God allowed me to be a part of what he had already put into place.
