We are Hiring!

QUALIFICATIONS
~Bachelor’s degree in surveying or Associate’s degree with 2 years experience, geomatics, mapping, geographic information science, mathematics, civil engineering, or another applicable science or technical field preferred.
~Current Texas Surveyor-in-Training certification, eligibility to obtain SIT certification, or a demonstrated commitment to completing the education, examination, and experience requirements for professional registration.
~Familiarity with CAD software such as Carlson.
~Basic understanding of GIS applications like ArcGIS and GPS surveying techniques.
~Knowledge of surveying equipment operation including total stations and GPS units.
~Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret schematics and construction plans accurately.
~Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting survey findings clearly.
~Prior experience or coursework related to land surveying or civil engineering projects.
~Strong customer service skills.

Finally Friday .. and a special shoutout to the backbone of 7R.

This is the part of surveying people never see.
The plat looks finished. The property corners look simple. What you don’t see is these guys spending the day in waist-high grass and timber, carrying the gear, working through the heat, and looking for evidence that may have been sitting out here for decades.
It’s a hard job. Slow. Uncomfortable. Easy to rush if you don’t care. They care because somebody’s going to build on it, fence it, buy it, or leave it to their kids. That kind of certainty doesn’t come from a desk.
We are so proud of our field crews and their dedication on getting the job done right. This August heat has been relentless and we are grateful they show up and do the part nobody applauds.
