Finally Friday .. and a special shoutout to the backbone of 7R.
This is the part of surveying people never see.
The plat looks finished. The property corners look simple. What you don’t see is these guys spending the day in waist-high grass and timber, carrying the gear, working through the heat, and looking for evidence that may have been sitting out here for decades.
It’s a hard job. Slow. Uncomfortable. Easy to rush if you don’t care. They care because somebody’s going to build on it, fence it, buy it, or leave it to their kids. That kind of certainty doesn’t come from a desk.
We are so proud of our field crews and their dedication on getting the job done right. This August heat has been relentless and we are grateful they show up and do the part nobody applauds.
