Behind every great community event are people who believe in bringing others together.

Litchfield Laughs was the result of a meaningful partnership between the Litchfield Park Arts Center, the West Valley Arts Council and The Thomas, organizations united by a shared vision of creating experiences that connect, inspire and strengthen our community.

For more than 20 years, Kathy Knecht has been a champion for arts and culture in the West Valley. As Executive Director of the West Valley Arts Council, she has dedicated her career to enhancing communities through creativity, connection and service.

Alongside her is Brian O’Connor, founder of Tri West Realty and creator of The Thomas. A longtime Litchfield Park resident, Brian envisioned The Thomas as a vibrant gathering place where residents can connect, celebrate and enjoy all that makes our community special while preserving the small town charm that defines it.

Together, their passion for community building helped bring Litchfield Laughs to life, proving that when local leaders collaborate, great things can happen.
