My buyer is currently going through this process as we’re slowly approaching the closing table so I wanted to touch base on this subject !

In the long list of things to do before buying and moving into your new home is getting home insurance ✔️

“Homeowner’s Insurance is a policy that protects you and the lender from natural disasters and liabilities such as a break-in, fire, or damage to your personal property. “

It’s best to purchase homeowners insurance before closing on the home. By securing the coverage you need before you even move into your new home, you safeguard your purchase from disasters 🏚✔️

Purchasing an insurance policy is a smart move in protecting the incredible investment of a new house. In addition to covering repairs to your home, many policies offer some coverage for you and your family’s belongings.

Are you business owner Or You just making money ? 🧐

As a realtor, many business owners are having huge difficulties applying and qualifying for a mortgage because they don’t have the right systems in place. Do you have a business plan ? Do you have a business account ? Is your business registered through the state ? Are you filing taxes under your business name ? If you’ve had your business for over two years and cannot qualify for a mortgage, YOU are not running a business, You’re just making money 🤷🏾‍♀️

What exactly does that phrase mean, and what do you need to do for your offer to be accepted ? —> Let’s go over what a “Highest and Best offer” really means.

In a seller’s market, sellers will likely receive multiple offers. Currently, there is an average of 7-10 offers on a home selling in the Metro Atlanta market.

When the sellers has a great number of offers on the table, they want to avoid negotiate back and forth with every offer they receive so instead, the seller and their agent will send out a call for “highest and best”. This usually comes with a deadline and some of their preferred terms in an ideal offer.

As your realtor, I would recommend us to decide and respond quickly if you would like to move forward with the offer on the subject property.

Your Realtor is the key to success with a “highest and best offer”. They can help you figure out what you really want to offer, not just in money but in other terms. ✨Together, we can craft an offer that will appeal to the seller 🥂
