The Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism's Lindy Greeters visited Beattie Beauty. Crystal Beattie moved to Little Falls eight years ago when she met her husband. She has three beautiful babies: 5, 3, and 1. She started massage therapy after graduating high school and then branched off into cosmetology about nine years ago. She started here in town by renting a chair at Luxe Salon, but she wanted to have a space that was completely hers so she opened up her salon at the end of last year right as she was having her youngest child so it’s been a slow start up, but she's excited to have her own space where she gets to do her hobby/passion every day. If you wanna follow along for behind-the-scenes or tips and tricks, Beattie Beauty is on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Crystal offers massage therapy, cut, color, perm, and waxing. She also specializes in wedding and special event hair and makeup. She uses the matrix color line along with red shades EQ for toner.
And she sells and uses Amica products, which are vegan and cruelty-free, Color Wow products, and Olaplex. She is also in the process of trying to make her salon a green circle salon, which means she will be collecting beauty waste. That includes hair clippings, used foils, color tubes, excess hair color, paper, plastic, and more, and then shipping those to her partners, where they are turned into new products and clean energy. She's not green circle certified yet, but it’s in the works.
