It’s that time of year… 🔥🍂
For hoodies, cool evenings, football, and finally having an excuse to fire up the fireplace.
Before you light it up, take a few minutes to make sure your chimney and fireplace are ready. A little maintenance now can help prevent much bigger problems later.
Cozy is good. Chimney fires… not so much. 😬
— MOV Home Inspections

Autumn is officially here, and colder weather is just around the corner. Before the home heating season begins, don't forget – an annual chimney inspection by a qualified chimney sweep can prevent fire or carbon monoxide poisoning. Here are some chimney fire safety tips from the New York State Office of Fire Prevention & Control.

In Memory of Dolly Parton ❤️

Dolly Parton was certainly a legendary entertainer, but what made her truly extraordinary had very little to do with fame. She spent her life helping children, supporting people in need, giving back to her community, and choosing kindness. To us, Dolly was one of those rare people who seemed like an angel here on Earth. The kind of person we should all strive to be a little more like.

Help the children.
Help the less fortunate.
Give when you are able.
Be good.
Be kind.
Leave the world a little better than you found it.

In honor of Dolly and her incredible commitment to children’s literacy, Wigal Hardware & Supply will donate 5% OF OUR SALES TOMORROW to our local library in Belpre.

It seems only right that a woman who spent so much of her life putting books into the hands of children be remembered by helping put even more books into the hands of children right here at home. Come shop local, support our community, and help us honor a truly remarkable woman. Thank you, Dolly, for showing the world what kindness can look like. ❤️
