Here at Lucas Land Surveying, we understand that technology is always evolving, especially in our field. We are dedicated to ensuring we provide the most effective and efficient solutions, by utilizing the latest technological advancements to better serve our clients.
Our team is proud to announce our entrance into the field of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) LiDAR (light detection and ranging) data acquisition. Our team has spent the last two days training with Brooks Blakey from Earl Dudley, LLC on flying the DJI M350 Drone, paired with the new TrueView 540 LiDAR sensor, and administering LP360 office software for post-processing and point cloud management.
What sets the TrueView 540 apart from the rest? This next generation of high-end LiDAR elevates the ability to achieve ground-level pe*******on through dense vegetation and wooded areas, allowing us to create highly accurate topographic surfaces and maps. The TV540 has a robust maximum point density of 550,000 points per second, which allows us to produce a highly detailed point cloud, making it the ideal LiDAR mapping solution for various engineering projects.
