Your personal and professional growth hinges on one skill more than almost anything else:

Your communication skills.

The good news is that’s a skill you can learn.

Most people think they’re communicating… but they’re really just talking. They say what makes sense to them and then wonder why it doesn’t land. That’s the gap.

I wrote Stop Talking, Start Communicating to help you close it.

This book pairs with the DISC assessment so you can understand how you naturally communicate, and more importantly, how to adjust so other people can actually hear you.

Because when you learn to speak someone else’s language, everything changes. You build trust faster. You create better connections. And your message actually lands.

I first took this assessment over 40 years ago, and it absolutely read my mail. I took it home, showed Sharon, and she said, “Yeah… that’s what’s wrong with you.”

I said, “No, that is me.” 😂

We’ve been using it ever since, at home and across our entire company. It’s one of the simplest, most practical tools I’ve ever used to understand people and communicate better.

If you want to grow, start with your conversations.

Very interesting, yet not surprising.....

Florida attracted more wealth from domestic migration than any other state in 2023, gaining $20.65 billion in adjusted gross income from new residents, according to a Realtor.com analysis of IRS data. Texas (+$5.5B), South Carolina (+$4.1B), and North Carolina (+$3.9B) also saw large gains. The biggest losers were California (-$11.9B), New York (-$9.9B), and Illinois (-$6.0B).
