Very interesting, yet not surprising.....

Florida attracted more wealth from domestic migration than any other state in 2023, gaining $20.65 billion in adjusted gross income from new residents, according to a Realtor.com analysis of IRS data. Texas (+$5.5B), South Carolina (+$4.1B), and North Carolina (+$3.9B) also saw large gains. The biggest losers were California (-$11.9B), New York (-$9.9B), and Illinois (-$6.0B).
