Some information that I would like to share, based on what has happened to me over the last 24 hours. Keep in mind, your Realtor should be professional, respectful, and diligent in all manners of your real estate transaction. It’s ok to get frustrated with your Realtor. However, it is not ok to attempt to belittle your Realtor, cuss them out, degrade them, falsify information, or try to unjustly and negatively damage their reputation or impune on their character. Keep in mind, we are self employed, independent contractors of the Brokerage who hold our license. We are not FORCED to work with anyone. If you are deliberately rude or condescending to your Realtor, then your Realtor has the right to not work with you and can terminate your Listing Agreement or Buyers Agency Agreement. Your Realtor can “fire” you as a client, just as you can “fire” your Realtor as your Agent. It is a two way street. I will represent my clients with the upmost respect, and handle things in a timely manner, abiding by all Real Estate Laws and the AREC Code of Ethics. If you ask me to not abide by those, and get mad when I say no, it does not give you the right to make threats towards myself or my business. You WILL be terminated as my client. Moral of the story, be respectful and patient, and you will have smooth transactions and a pleasant experience, regardless of who your Realtor is.

Just like my post yesterday, here is another article of a different loan type. Buying a home can be a very intimidating thing! You are going to have a lot on your plate. Get with your trusted Mortgage Loan Officer to ensure you get a preapproval, know your budget, what you're looking for in a home, and check with your insurance company to see what the cost of your homeowner's insurance will cost. There's many variables. Don't be overwhelmed when there are educated professionals that would love to assist you in this difficult and stressful time!

Considering purchasing a home? Not sure where to start? Take a few moments to review this article. There is a common misunderstanding that an FHA loan is a "First Time Home Buyer" Loan.
