Race week is HERE, and we are so excited for Saturday! 📣🌟

The 2026 Run the Park 5K & Kids Fun Run is almost here, and this year’s race is shaping up to be such a fun morning at Two Rivers Park. We’re bringing together runners, walkers, families, friends, sponsors, and supporters for a day that celebrates community and benefits Special Olympics Arkansas.

And race morning is about more than the finish line.

We’ll have free coffee and hot chocolate from Fidel & Co., music from MJ the DJ, free supplements from Five Star Nutrition, plus donuts, fruit, finish-line refreshments, and more waiting for you.

ATTENTION REALTORS®: New Homebuyer Assistance Program Coming to Central Arkansas!

While this program excludes properties within the City of Little Rock, we know many LRRA members serve clients both inside and outside city limits, so we wanted to make sure this opportunity was on your radar!

The Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA) is launching a new Homebuyer’s Assistance Program designed to provide financial assistance to eligible homebuyers in Pulaski, Benton, and Cross Counties, excluding the City of Little Rock.

The program is funded through HUD's Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) initiative to support communities impacted by the 2023 and 2024 storms.

ADFA is hosting a FREE informational webinar for REALTORS®, lenders, developers, and builders to learn about the program, eligibility requirements, implementation timeline, and opportunities for industry professionals to participate.

Appraisal updates are coming, and REALTORS® need to know what to expect.

Join us for the October General Membership Meeting on Thursday, October 22 at Chenal Country Club for an Appraiser Panel focused on upcoming appraisal form changes and how they may impact real estate transactions.

We’ll hear from Stephanie Elison, Senior Director of Mortgage Underwriting at Arvest, and Mike Orman, Director of Appraisal Review at Arvest, for a first-hand look at:

- What is changing with appraisal forms
- What REALTORS® can expect from the new process
- How to better prepare buyers and sellers
- What appraisers want REALTORS® to understand as these changes roll out
