Over the past 12 months, the median sales price for a single-family home in New Hampshire reached $540,000 — a record level statewide.
But that number only tells part of the story.
Communities like Bedford, Portsmouth, and Windham ranked among the highest-priced markets and had a lot of closed sales, while towns such as Sugar Hill, Kensington, and Center Harbor saw far fewer sales — in some cases averaging barely one closing per month.
