See ya, August...I'm ready for Fall, and it seems like the Denver Area housing market is as well.

+ The August 2021 report indicates a slowdown in inventory while still being a good time for burnt-out buyers to re-enter the market as seasonality takes hold of the area.
+ Days in MLS increased slightly in August 2021. Likewise, the close-price-to-list-price ratio dipped ever so slightly month-over-month.
+ If no one were to put a property on the market for 19 days, there would be nothing to sell in the entire Denver Metro area.
+ While month-end active inventory is historically low for August, there are plenty of opportunities. Buyers continue to benefit from low interest rates and constantly replenishing inventory.

All to say, hang in there...the leaves are about to start changing, it's going to cool off, and we're taking a much-needed deep breath this weekend to prepare for what usually happens after Labor Day...an increase in inventory.
