There’s a Chinese proverb that says, “The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

As realtors, our priority is to make sure none of our clients have regrets! With that in mind, we encourage you to avoid theses costly mistakes when buying a home:

1. Not taking the time to learn the sellers’ goals and preferences.
- Remember that there is more to a good offer than price and communication with sellers and listing agents is key!

2. Waiving Inspection.
- There are many ways to be competitive with your inspection clause without completely getting rid of it. When purchasing a home, you want to go in with eyes wide open.

3. Waiting!
- While it’s not always the “right” time to buy, most buyers regret not buying sooner. With few exceptions, home values only increase year over year. Plus, with rates expected to drop in the coming months, many are expecting a surge in buyers and a more competitive market.

Not only do Open Houses create foot traffic and a "buzz", but they often create opportunity. This is the second deal this year where we have represented buyers who found their home through an Open House.
