We’ve done it again! 🙌 Livermore has been named one of the safest suburbs in America - ranking #2 in California and #37 nationwide in a new 2025 study by SmartAsset.

This ranking looked at 360 suburbs across the U.S. analyzing:

▪️Violent crime & property crime rates
▪️Motor vehicle fatalities
▪️Drug overdose deaths
▪️Excessive drinking rates

The data came from the FBI’s 2023 Uniform Crime Reporting Database, the U.S. Census Bureau, and the University of Wisconsin’s County Health Rankings & Roadmap project.

What this means: Livermore’s recognition is a reflection of our strong community partnerships and the dedication of every officer and staff member who works to keep our city safe.
