Who knows what this is?!? It’s a queen cup!! It’s swarming season!! And today I found an egg in that queen cup. I destroyed it as we don’t want this hive to swarm.

Sometimes it’s a challenge to stay ahead of the girls. I am blessed to have an amazing mentor. I truly do love beekeeping.

Make sure this time of year you watch out for those queen cups.

May is also Lyme Disease awareness month. Remember you can heal with bee venom therapy. Ask me how.

Yesterday was such a day!! I went to the Dickson Bee Club to install a NUC and watch my mentor Aaron inspect the hives. And then I caught my first swarm, guided by my mentor of course. Now I have two bee hives and I’m just getting started. 🐝

Plus today is the second day in a row I’ve been pay free. ☀️

To the naysayers is going to heal the & . I trust in God, I trust my spirit, and I trust the bees. ❤️🐝

My Mom used to say sometimes we have to let go of the live we have planned so that we can live the life that’s waiting for us.

Next up, a beach house.

I got my first bee hive y’all! I am so excited. Yesterday I found the queen and started crying. If you would have asked me 5 years ago, if I would be battling Lyme, moving out of state, or keeping bees I would have said no way. Lyme has been a blessing in many ways because it gave me the courage to forge a different path for myself.

A better path.

I love Tennessee.
I will beat this Lyme.
Most importantly I am so excited to see where beekeeping takes me.

I am so grateful for my husband who supports me every step of the way, and for my children. I know me being sick has been hard on them. ❤️

Am I healed yet? Not yet.

BUT I will bee! 🐝

Can you spot the queen?!? 🐝

I was out today opening up hives with my mentor today. He has 19 hives. I was outside suited up opening hives for 4 hours. I realize I could work on hives all day. I really do love bees.

I am so thankful for the bees, for healing, and for all of my blessings.

Every single day is a new opportunity to laugh and enjoy all the beauty around us.

and I went to last week when I visited the , we had the BEST time.

These are my cousins & they are outstanding human beings on every levels. First let me say, they were able to get me bees from their hives so that I would not miss a sting day while traveling.

They are homesteading together as a family. I think that is so amazing! My cousin Dani makes the best bread. Kainoa and Dani’s wonderful children are so fun to talk to and so well behaved. Dani & Kainoa are passing on so much love & knowledge to their children. God says “You can tell a tree by its fruit”. Thank you all for the many blessings you bestowed upon us. We even ended the day with a little family croquet!!

I am so grateful for y’all. I’m so thankful for the time we got to spend together.

I know I haven’t posted in a while, & it’s because I have finally figured out what has been causing all my headaches. After 3 years, lots of money and heartache I know now that I have .

I am treating with & it is working. Not only is it working BUT it will heal me completely.

I share this because I don’t want anyone else to suffer like I have suffered. The last three years have been horrible for me. I don’t want people feeling sorry for me because those that know me, truly know me, know that I am a problem solver & THERE IS NOTHING I CANT DO OR FIGURE OUT.

I may say some things that you don’t like moving forward, & you’re more than welcome to hit that delete button.

I hate Western Medicine & do not trust them as far as I can throw.
