I’m not entirely sure what the criteria are for this award… I believe it’s tied to last year’s sales volume. And while I’m competitive by nature, my biggest competition has always been my own standards.
Whether I sell one home or a hundred, the numbers mean nothing without the relationships behind them. What I truly hope for is that the people I work with stop seeing me as “their real estate guy” and start thinking of me as a trusted friend who helped them through one of the biggest decisions of their life.
So while I appreciate this recognition, the award I value most is a referral. If you know someone thinking about buying, selling, or investing in real estate, I’d be honored if you passed along my name. Everyone gets the same care and attention from me, no matter their situation or experience with the process.
That’s the standard I hold myself to and honestly, it’s the only one that matters.
