If you were buying or selling today, which number would catch your attention first?

Here’s the May snapshot for the Essex County single-family market, and the spring market continues to gain momentum.

The median sold price rose to $855,000, homes sold in just 14 median days, and sellers received an average of 112.65% of their list price. That’s a strong sign that well-prepared homes are still attracting significant buyer interest.

At the same time, inventory continued to increase, giving buyers more options than we’ve seen in previous months. In a market like this, being informed, prepared, and strategic can make all the difference.
