Several of our Dove Healthcare leaders hit the links at the WHCA MacKenzie Classic Golf Tournament earlier this week! This tournament raises funds for the George F. MacKenzie Scholarship Fund, which supports individuals pursuing long term careers within the post-acute care sector. We are proud to support those looking to advance their healthcare careers!

One of our favorite activities here at Dove Healthcare - Settlers' Trail is our weekly group exercise! Rhonda, restorative aide next door at Dove Healthcare - Lodi, stops by every Tuesday to get our heart rates up. These exercises help strengthen muscles, sustain our mobility, and build confidence. Rhonda definitely knows how to get us moving!

The Car Show is such an incredible event that is hosted right out front of our complex, and we can't wait for August 20! We hope to see you there!

Our annual Cars & Cones: Classic Car Show is BACK! Join us Wednesday, August 20 from 5:30-7:30PM to check out cars from the '50s, enjoy live music by Turning Point, and free popcorn, ice cream, and snow cones for all. Free entry for the public!

Tickets can be purchased for a gift basket drawing to support fundraising efforts for a wheelchair accessible golf cart in partnership with the Dove Healthcare Community Foundation. The golf cart will be used to take area seniors, Veterans, and others on adventures around Lodi.

We are happy to announce Melissa Guethlein as the new apartment manager of our senior independent living apartments!

Melissa will now have a dual role as she is also maintaining her position as nutritional services director next door at Dove Healthcare - Lodi.

“Melissa has great experiencing managing apartments, and we are grateful she accepted this HomeGROWN promotion with Dove Healthcare,” said Administrator Tom Graves.

Melissa shared, “I have lived in Lodi for over 20 years with my husband and pets just a few blocks away. I enjoy cooking and spending time outdoors. I have experience managing apartments, condos, homes, commercial properties, restaurants, and production kitchens. I look forward to working with our tenants to ensure an enjoyable and well-maintained living environment.”
