My University Senior Residential Project. (Going through files:) Just ran across this lovely note from my Senior Project Professor, the creatve genious and world-wide recognized Richard Hileman, ASID. I had complete, uninterrupted access to the San Francisco, Pacific Heights mansion of Dag Hammarskjöld, Swedish economist and diplomat who served as the second Secretary-General of the United Nations from 1953 until his death in 1961. The assignment was all-consuming and very exciting. The Professor became a very close friend and mentor and opened up pathways in the fantastic world of San Francisco Interior Architecture and Design for me! Richard must have enjoyed my efforts as noted with a generous "A+" . He was able to secure the mansion as he was dear friends of the family and designed many of their dwellings across the globe. what an extraordinary experience it was!!
