There’s no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to renting vs buying.
For some buyers, owning in Cache Valley makes sense sooner than they think—especially long term. Average rent in Cache Valley for a 3 Bedroom is around $1800 a month compared to a Mortgage for a 3 bedroom in Cache Valley would of course depend on your down payment but would be around $2650. Although the mortgage is higher it does give you the chance to build equity. And remember, the right time to buy is always 5 years ago.
