Twenty-five years ago today, I stood in absolute horror as I watched our country being attacked. I will never and can never forget the pain and the total disbelief I felt. It almost seemed as if the world I had known for 57 years had come to an abrupt end and life would never be the same again. We, you and I must never forget this day or forget the close to 3,000 victims who lost their lives, the heroic actions of our emergency personnel, the first responders and those of the average citizens who happened to be in and near the Twin Towers, as well as the many hundreds of those we have lost since then from the effects of being exposed to toxins that terrible day. To never forget these memories and to never forget how each of us felt, is to ensure a similar event will never happen again. 👵🏻🙏🏼🇺🇸
