Four years after their first transaction, my phone rang. Their mom's health situation had changed, and they needed to sell their house now. Not maybe, not eventually – now. When they called, there wasn't any shopping around or interviewing other agents. Just 'We need to sell it now.' That's when you know you've built something real with clients. Sometimes what looks like a setback is actually setting you up for something better.

I had clients who lost out on a house they really wanted. Disappointing? Absolutely. But then another family called about that same property, and when I introduced them to it, they fell head over heels in love.

Sometimes the best business partnerships happen when someone says 'I'm gonna help you' and actually means it.

I was just telling a friend about this couple I work with. She's a former teacher, he runs a painting company. When his business hit those growth plateaus we all know - expand, stagnate, expand, stagnate - she jumped in to help.
