What You Should Know
Northern Utah's housing market remained active throughout May, with buyers continuing to benefit from improved inventory levels while sellers of well-priced homes are still seeing strong results.
Cache County experienced notable price growth, with both average and median sales prices increasing year over year while homes sold faster than they did last May. Weber County remained one of the region's most active markets, posting more than 300 closed sales and maintaining strong pricing stability.
Box Elder County saw inventory tighten and days on market improve, while Rich County continued to behave differently than most Northern Utah markets due to its smaller inventory base, recreational appeal, and luxury property influence.
As we move into the summer market, pricing strategy, presentation, negotiation expertise, and local market knowledge continue to play a significant role in achieving the best possible outcome for buyers and sellers alike.
